Highlights:

The Oldest Inland UK Diving SiteThis, the first of the National Inland Dive Sites, has been operating since 1958… and is popularly known as Dozzi.

Use your satnav or Google Maps to locate postcode B77 1LU – Church Road, Dosthill.

We are at 52o59’64.10″N, 1o68’78.00″W. So better still, copy and paste the following Geographic coordinates into Google Maps or your satnav to find our exact location on earth!

This should bring you into Church Road from the A51.Please turn off car radios at this point to minimise noise disturbance to local residents.Continue past the Church and turn left into the site car park.

Photos and VideosBecause of the consistently good underwater visibility,and lack of dreaded green algae that affects so many lakes,Dozzi is a great location for underwater photos and videos.

Facilities

Air Station:

Breathing air compressor and storage banks, delivering clean air at competitive prices. You can generally get air at weekends from 7:30am from storage banks, with the compressor starting up around 9am to avoid disturbing the neighbours.

Retail Shop:

Stocked with popular lines / accessories.

Catering Van:

Offering a tasty range of snacks and drinks available at very reasonable prices.

Changing Rooms:

For men and women. A great bolthole when it’s raining!

Chemical Toilets:

Two chemical portaloos … there for your convenience.

Parking:

Free, and close to the water

Thursday 1pm-9pm. Last check-in at 6:30pm. Exit from the water by 8:30pm

Friday 2pm-9pm. Last check-in at 6:30pm. Exit from the water by 8:30pm

Saturday & Sunday 7:30am-4pm. Last check-in at 1:30pm. Exit from the water by 3:30pm
